  • FSMA905 connector
  • 1" optics
  • A wide range of beam-shaping optics available
  • Lines, double lines, axicons, homogeneous rectangles, top-hat profiles
  • Customised optics

Information

We offer the extremely compact LH102 laser head, which features a pyrometer integrated into the laser’s beam path, specifically for applications where space is limited. Measuring just 52 mm × 40 mm and weighing 0.2 kg, this laser head is not much larger than a matchbox. It can be used with laser power up to a maximum of 100 W.

The LH102 laser head is also available with an integrated video camera (LH103).

The lenses of the laser head can be swapped, so that, for example, it is easy to switch from spot optics to line optics.

Temperature measurement typically from approx. 120°C. Optionally from approx. 70°C.
The specifications of the infrared pyrometers integrated into the laser head correspond to those on our pyrometer page.

Please note: Our digital pyrometers form part of the LASCON® measurement and control system.

  • Suitable for optical power up to 100 W
  • Wavelengths from 808 nm to 980 nm
  • Coated, interchangeable lenses
  • Typical measuring range of the infrared pyrometer: 140°C – 700°C; other measuring ranges up to 2500°C available on request
  • Fibre-optic connectors: FSMA905, N.A. 0.22
  • Minimum laser spot size from approx. 100 µm
  • Visible pilot light, brightness adjustable via LASCON Process Manager software
  • Footprint 52 mm × 40 mm
  • Lightweight (0.2 kg)

Thanks to its compact dimensions, the laser head is ideally suited for integration into machines and systems with limited installation space.

This also includes processing a component simultaneously with several laser systems.

Applications include laser brazing, laser plastic welding and laser heating for thermal bonding or brazing on wafers.

The LH102 laser head can also be easily combined with our SWF100 wire feeder, resulting in an extremely compact laser brazing head which, thanks to its low weight, can also be easily adapted for use on tabletop robots.

Owing to its low weight and compact dimensions, the laser head is also suitable for mounting on the rotary axes of benchtop robots.
