LASCON Controlled Laser

The LCL is a diode laser with an integrated LASCON measurement and control system for a laser process with a closed-loop temperature control system

The LCL combines a fibre-coupled diode laser with a maximum power of 140W andthe LASCON® pyrometer measurement and control system in a compact housing. This drastically reduces the space required for installation, the amount of cabling needed and the costs.

When the diode laser is used for laser brazing with brazing wire , the system also includes the controller for the brazing wire feed unit and the control unit for the laser head’s ring light.

Consequently, all the cables required for laser brazing are connected to a single system. This drastically reduces and simplifies the wiring effort.

Furthermore, the unit is designed to meet safety requirements for integration into machinery and plant. The diode current can be safely switched on and off via safety devices.

  • The LCL diode laser system is an ideal tool for integrating laser brazing into machinery and plant.
  • All you need is the laser system, the optical fibres and the processing head (with or without wire feed). With these components, you can get straight into laser brazing with pyrometer control. Thanks to the high brilliance, even extremely small laser spots down to a diameter of 100 µm can be achieved.
  • Other applications include laser plastic welding, laser heating and other laser processes.
  • The products presented here comply with laser class 4. The laser must only be operated in an environment that complies with national and international safety regulations.
  • Due to their compact design, all laser-related components are integrated within the process chamber. This makes it relatively straightforward to set up Category 1 laser systems.
  • The LH102, LH103 and LH501 laser process heads can be connected directly.
